Sara Frances joined Acorn Consulting as a Policy Analyst in January 2024. In this role, she advocates for clients and is a point of contact, coordinating outreach initiatives in the transportation vertical, advancing clients' funding priorities in the appropriations arena, and synthesizing meaningful analyses. Sara Frances monitors and corresponds with clients on pivotal hearings and legislative developments and organizes schedules for District and Agency visits. She works to ensure that our strategic endeavors in the energy, transportation, and heavy industrial verticals remain anchored in our clients' long-term goals.
At Tulane University, Sara Frances's academic journey was marked by an interest in the intersection of federal policy and Louisiana’s petrochemical history and production. There, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Policy & Practice and Sociology, with a minor in Psychology. Beyond academics, Sara Frances was an active member of the Tulane and New Orleans communities, demonstrating her leadership skills in Chi Omega Fraternity and contributing to various campus and community outreach organizations. She also dedicated significant time to providing grant writing support at a local non-profit.
Sara Frances is a native of Birmingham, AL, where she spent the bulk of her childhood before relocating to McLean, VA. She currently resides in Arlington, VA.
